Please develop case study Case Study Purpose Older adults are at high risk for falls for several reasons: poor musculoskeletal control, poor nutritional status, sensory changes, cognitive changes, pain, and polypharmacy are a few of the physiological changes for fall risk. The home environment of the client can also place them at risk for falls (inability to accommodate assistive devices, scatter rugs, uneven floors, poor lighting). The nurse in any clinical practice should assess the client for fall risk as part of their nursing care and discharge plans. This assignment provides students an opportunity to complete an environmental scan of the bedroom of an older adult to identify potential fall risks. The student will use the written assignment to explore this topic further and identify nursing interventions to reduce risk potential for falls in the older adult client. Paper length is between two (2) to three (3) double spaced pages (excluding title and reference pages) using APA (7th ed.) style and formatting. Paper must include at least three (3) additional nursing scholarly journal references outside of the assigned course readings (published in the last five years).
