I want you to consider the clinical education of students from two perspectives. First, your own student experiences. Second, your observations as a nurse that has worked with or seen students and instructors on their units. If you have never worked on a unit with student nurses, consider your work with new graduates. Everyone’s experiences will have been different, so discuss the following questions with that in mind. You are not limited to these. I just want a discussion that examines the role of the clinical faculty (of pre-licensure nursing students) in providing effective clinical instruction.
