Hi Everyone, I could not believe that we are already level 2 students. My name is Arun Chaulagain, I had my first bachelor’s degree from the Tribhuvan University of Nepal. I used to be a teacher while I was in Nepal. I believe, teaching and nursing are sister professions, and both need passion, love of people, patience, and dedication to succeed. I was always thinking about a nursing career while being a teacher in Nepal but nursing continues to be associated with women and feminity which has been reflected in structural barriers to men pursuing the profession. I’m currently working as a Medical lab assistant at Newton Wellesley Hospital. The primary responsibilty of nurse is a patient care but having knowledge of sample processing and testing could help in better patients care.
