For this project, you will make a PowerPoint presentation that illustrates your unique perspective of how Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs concepts apply to a surgical patient. All levels of Maslow’s pyramid should be examined in the presentation. This should highlight how the patients’ needs are being met from the pre-operative area, intra-operative area, and post-operative area and through recovery. To start, you should begin by “creating” your surgical patient. Who is your patient? What is their background? Why are they having surgery? Next, decide what type of presentation you would like to create and insert into your PowerPoint. Be as creative as you want. There must be some type of presentation within the PowerPoint.
