Give extra information is missing please. “A person with anorexia nervosa has an unusually low body weight, a strong fear of putting on weight, and a distorted perspective of what is and is not acceptable body weight. Anorexics put great emphasis on maintaining their weight and physical appearance, often by making excessive attempts that seriously disrupt their lives( Mayo, 2018). During winter break I watched a movie about individuals who suffer from eating disorders and I even got to deal with someone who was afraid to eat in my mental health clinical rotation. I was able to see the Signs and symptoms which are very obvious. You see amenorrhea( low body weight, Lanugo( excessive hair growth) from starvation. The body is so cold it produces more hair to keep them warm. Cold extremities again because of starvation, they also have Muscle weakening. In most cases they allow the individual to overcome there fear of gaining weight but when they can not achieve it they turn to TPN. TPN is typically for those with trouble swallowing but in this case they don’t have that challenge but they do have trouble eating”
