Phase 1 – Step 3 Team Meeting Minutes Project Topic: An education toolkit for psychiatric nurse practitioners: Addressing antidepressant adherence among patients. Agenda items Introductions Student will discuss plan for project Discuss each of the following: Meaningful? Have a meaningful project purpose and project outcome(s) been identified and explicitly stated? In other words, is addressing the problem the logical next step given the previous discussion of the gap in practice or practice change needed at the site? Social Change Impact Does the proposed project have potential to effect positive social change? Aligned? Do the project purpose and project outcomes align overall? The project purpose and proposed outcomes should be appropriate to a translation of evidence model and a project management approach. The project will align with one of the 3 DNP checklists for a project management project: staff education, evaluation of a QI initiative, or a clinical practice guideline. Feasible in this context? Is it feasible to accomplish this project in the identified setting or context? The project activities (e.g., resources, data, etc) are approved by the organization and documented on the site approval form. The site leader and project mentor agreed to the proposed time frames for the student to complete the DNP project. Ethical? Will this project provide protection for human subjects? The ethical requirements for this type of project are indicated on the Site Approval Form. Walden IRB approval is not required for this project because it is not considered research and will not be presented/published outside the organization.
